Living in South Eastern Pennsylvania (Berks, Lancaster, Chester) over the years has afforded an appreciation for the vernacular barns scattered across our region.   Many of them are abandoned, weathered, and aged.  I always appreciated wood in this aged state; full of character.  As such, I find  these furniture pieces by anthropologie really interesting.

I love these furniture pieces by IZM.  In their own words, the pieces are “clean designs that appear rustic but are sophisticated in construction. They often cast an imposing shadow but remain delicate through studied variation in material thickness, cantilevered construction, recesses, and just-right proportionality.”  As far as I’m concerned, enough said!  Enjoy the pictures and check out their other pieces.
